"Dental Ethics: 150 Shades of Grey"
with Dr. Robert Stevenson
2 CE Units
Ethics is a commonly misunderstood discipline. It is far more than just the ramblings of old dead philosophers. Ethics affects all aspects of the dentist’s professional and personal life.
In this presentation Dr. Stevenson will try to bring relevance to dental ethics by discussing how to make an ethical decision, then applying that to case studies. Current ethical concerns will be addressed, along with significant points from our profession’s codes of ethics.
Upon completion of this course, attendees will be able to:
1. Use proper decision-making steps when presented with an ethical dilemma.
2. Recall essential ethical principles and core values when confronted with a dilemma
3. Be familiar with CDA Code of Ethics and ADA Code
