This course is designed to give dental practices a systematic approach to achieving an optimum administrative supply ratio. The methodologies introduced in this course can be translated to all operational areas of a dental practice. These methodologies include SMART goals, SWOT analysis, and a bottom up approach to strategy development focused on people, processes, and systems. All of these concepts are then put into context using 3 different case studies in practices of various sizes and dynamics.
Three (3) Learning Outcomes:
1. Understand and manage your practice operations more effectively, allowing for improved focus and clarity in decision making
2. Analyze historical practice data, including fixed and variable expenses to evaluate performance and plan for the future.
3. Identify, outline, and assess practice objectives and goals (SMART).
4. Develop a bottom up business strategy focused on people, processes, and systems in the practice.
About Christina Vetter:
As an account manager with The Dentists Supply Company, Christina connects dentists with the products they need to be empowered to achieve their unique visions of practice success. Christina has more than 25 years of experience in the dental industry. In addition to 15 years as a representative for major dental supply manufacturers, she has 10 years in the practice setting as a registered dental assistant and as an office manager. Additionally, she’s honed her teaching skills as a clinical instructor at Sacramento City College.
